NARNIA To Support SONATA ARCTICA In Sweden

March 3, 2006

Swedish metallers NARNIA will support SONATA ARCTICA on the Swedish leg of their European tour. The dates are as follows:

Apr. 11 - Stockholm, SWE @ Arenan
Apr. 12 - Gothenburg, SWE @ Kåren
Apr. 13 - Lund, SWE @ Mejeriet

As previously reported, NARNIA recently reached an agreement with the German label Massacre Records to release the band's new studio album, "Enter the Gate" on April 21. Meanwhile, Attic Arcade/Gencross has set a March 23 Japanese release date for "Enter the Gate". The CD is being described by the band as "the most well-sounding and well-performed NARNIA album to date." The follow-up to 2003's "The Great Fall" features backing vocals by Mats Leven (THERION, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, AT VANCE) and contains "the most melodic and catchy songs since 'Long Live the King' from the late '90s but in a brand new sound and approach," according to the band.

MCM Music recently released a CD version of NARNIA's 2003 concert performance ay Owener Rocknacht in Germany. The show, which was previously released on DVD under the title "At Short Notice....Live in Germany", was edited and remastered for the CD version.
